Sedona Lace 7 Piece Midnight Lace Synthetic Brush Set

Today I am going to share with you a product that I am very excited about. This is the 7 Piece Midnight Lace Synthetic Brush Set. It's newest Sedona Lace brush set.
Top to bottom: Synthetic Small Round Dome, Synthetic Small Angle, Synthetic Small Tapered, Synthetic Small Round Flat, Synthetic Small Round, Synthetic Small Angled Flat, Synthetic Small Flat Top
I have owned the Sedona Lace Vortex Collection for several months, and I just love it. Those brushes make a huge difference for me. I had no idea what a difference having the right brushes could make in my make-up application. Overall, I've been very happy with my Sedona Lace brushes. When I saw they had new brushes that resembled the Sigma Precision brushes for less, I had to have them!

I have wanted to purchase the Sigma Precision brush set for a while, but I haven't wanted to spend $59 for 5 brushes. Sedona Lace is a great alternative to Sigma brushes. They offer high quality, affordable brushes. I haven't used their make-up, but I have heard good reviews on YouTube.
The brushes arrived in a blue mesh bag with all 7 brushes and my free gift (more detail on that in tomorrow's post).

Each brush was fully protected.  They had plastic covering the handles and brush covers.

All of these new brushes have Sedona Lace's Midnight Lace colored synthetics bristles. The brushes have pink bristles with dark purple tips and black handles. The tips almost look black. I don't consider myself to be a "pink" kind of girl, but I don't mind the pink bristles. In fact, I think it will make them easier for me to find in of my brush organizer, because they look unique and different.
The first thing I noticed about these brushes is how soft they are! They are dense but very soft so they have some give to them.

Let's look at the individual brushes...

Synthetic Small Flat Top Brush 872 - I think I'll use this to apply concealer to cover blemishes. I am really happy to have a small brush that I can use to stipple concealer in small areas.
Synthetic Small Round Brush 312 - This is the brushes I really wanted for concealer. The rounded shape makes it super easy to blend foundation or concealer around your eyes or nose. Plus, with such soft bristles, they are nice for your delicate eye area. I think I could use this to apply my cream shadows or eye primer, too.
Synthetic Small Tapered Brush 224 - I initially thought I would use this brush for under eye concealer. However, now that I have it, I think it will use it for highlighting the inner corner of my eyes. The shape is perfect to apply highlight with precision. I might also use this to contour around my nose. It would even be good for a cream highlight.
Synthetic Small Angled Flat Brush 618 - I imagine I will use this brush with powder to set my under eye concealer. The shape and size will be perfect to place powder under my eyes.
Synthetic Small Round Flat Brush 847 - I haven't figured out how I will use this brush yet. However, if you apply a liquid contour, this brush would be perfect!
Synthetic Small Angle Brush 773 - This brush would also be good for setting concealer with loose powder.

Synthetic Small Round Dome Brush 217 - I think this brush will be good for contouring and highlighting. It's fluffy enough to blend out powder. I was the least excited about this brush, but I think I will use it more than I thought when I ordered it.

This set is available on the Sedona Lace website for $59.95. If you use the promo code 50FREE, you can get free shipping on orders over $50. Also, they are offering a free 4 color eyeshadow palette with a travel size EB 13 Synthetic Blender brush with orders of $49.95 or more.

Overall, I'm very excited about these brushes. I'm sure I will find many more ways to use them once I try them. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions!
